Bodywork for the horse you rode in on...and you
Home

Welcome!

I want to help your horse find the most efficient movement possible while balancing and calming both mind and body. Enhancing the horse's movement is accomplished by reducing areas of tightness and restriction with the use of myofascial release, neuromuscular re-eduction and some cranio-sacral techniques.  I also have completed equine sports massage training for trigger point therapy and stretching through Therasage EMC.  Currently, I am a student of the Vluggen Institute for Equine Osteopathy.

With areas of restriction reduced and movement enhanced, the partnership between the horse and rider becomes smoother and more fluid. After a few sessions you may notice a lighter touch gains a better response than what a previously heavier one would. Even people respond nicer when movement isn't as restricted and less tension is carried.

The techniques that were taught are subtle ones but the results run deep. I work with the horse's muscle structure and breath. I listen, connect, follow and influence the change the horse needs. This method allows for a more lasting change in the wellness of the horse.

My work... Works!

If you are interested in adding a bodywork therapist to your team of equine support specialists, I'd be happy to discuss filling that role.
